It is managed by Dyal Singh College Trust Society based in Delhi 〔(Dyal Singh College, Karnal )〕

Dyal Singh college Karnal is a premier educational institution of Northern India equipped with the requisite infrastructure for the all round development of the students.
Dyal Singh College, Karnal is run by Dyal Singh College Trust Society, Delhi. The college is premier co-educational institution of Haryana. The institution owes its inception to the munificence and philanthropic zeal of its illustrious Founder, Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia. The great visionary Sardar entrusted his entire property to three trusts - Dyal Singh College Trust Society, Dyal Singh Liberty Trust and The Tribune Trust - with the sole aim of spreading knowledge and information to the farthest nook and corner of the country. As per the section 7 of the will of Dyal Singh College Majithia, Dyal Singh College Trust Society established the college at Lahore. What started as a single institution in Lahore in May, 1910 to gather and spread "The wisdom of the East and the West" has blossomed into a multi-faceted chain of institutions.
The college is located in the heart of the city of Karnal. Though the college was originally established in May 1910 in Lahore, It was re-established at Karnal on September 16, 1949 due to the untiring efforts of Hon'ble Dewan Anand Kumar, the Founder Vice-Chancellor of Punjab University Chandigarh and the founder member of the U.G.C. of India. The college started as an Artrs College, and gradually it became a reputed centre of learning in Science and Commerce. Besides the graduate courses, in Medical, Non-Medical, Genetics, Electronics, Biotechnology, Computer Science & Commerce, the college runs Post- Graduate courses in English, Hindi and Political Science as well.
Along with academics, the college has made a mark in the field of sports and co-curricular activities. Along with imparting the modern education, the institution aims at the holistic development of its students through character building, inculcation of moral values, and active participation in social service and women development programmes.
The college is equipped with the most modern and updated laboratories, fully computerized and vast library with a collection of 77390 books, a newly setup language lab. And last but not the least, a fully dedicated faculty " to teach up to the highest standard and look after the mental well being of the students" Besides the college empower the students through the various activities of N.C.C., N.S.S., Sports and cultural activities, The college has a very active placement cell that helps the students to seek the placement of their choice in various multinational companies. The institution has been accredited as an "A Grade" Institution by the NAAC of UGC in Recognition of its services and contribution to the field of education.
